About Zetsurin Karate
Zetsurin means Peerless, Matchless, Unequalled. We take this name not to be boastful, but to aspire to live up to the meaning of Zetsurin by being the very best we can possibly be.Zetsurin Karate
The mission of Zetsurin Karate Club is to develop a partnership between instructors and students that will enable members to achieve their full potential in the study of karate, and to generally promote the traditional martial art of Karate. Zetsurin will give all students, irrespective of gender, race, religion or ethnicity an equal opportunity to study and perform Karate to the best of their ability.
Instructors
We currently have five 3rd Dan black belts and a number of first and second Dan Black belts available in the club to help with instructing our students. We also offer an assistant instructor programme for brown belts above the age of 13, so that they are better able to assist more junior student grades.
The club will maintain the ongoing education and training of its instructors to ensure that our students train in a safe environment, with the highest standard of instruction available.
Certification
All Zetsurin Instructors must meet strict criteria before they are certified to teach. They must hold a minimum of 1st degree Black Belt qualification, have a current CRB certificate, Emergency First Aid certificate, and be up to date with Child Protection and Health and Safety policies.

Club members are encouraged, if they are happy to do so, to enter Club, Regional, National Karate competitions. Specialised advanced training can be made available to help bring your skills up to competition standard.
Safety
Dojo safety is taken very seriously by all instructors. Zetsurin has a health and safety policy, and senior instructors have emergency first aid accreditation.
